• Optional business fields: GSTIN or registered billing name when you provide them for B2B invoicing.
• Communications: messages you send us on WhatsApp, email, or phone in connection with an order or enquiry.
• Ratings: star rating, optional comment, and first name if you submit feedback after delivery (linked to your order number).
• Technical: basic server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) and data stored locally in your browser such as light/dark theme preference — we do not use this to profile you for advertising.

3. What we do not collect

We do not ask for your Aadhaar, PAN, or bank login details through the website. We do not track precise GPS location from your device unless you choose to share a map pin or directions with us in a message. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18.

4. How we use your information

We use your data for operational and legal purposes connected to fuel supply, not for unrelated marketing lists sold to others.

• Confirming and fulfilling diesel delivery orders, including dispatch coordination and driver routing.
• Sending order confirmations and tax invoices (including by email with a PDF attachment).
• Calling or messaging you about slot confirmation, tanker ETA, or access issues at your site.
• Verifying ratings are tied to genuine orders and displaying aggregated review scores on our website.
• Maintaining accounts, credit, and payment records where you have a business arrangement with us.
• Complying with applicable laws, including record-keeping for petroleum supply and taxation.
• Improving our service quality and resolving disputes using order and delivery records.

5. When we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited details with service providers who help us run the business, under confidentiality expectations:

• Hosting and database providers that store order data securely.
• Email delivery services used to send invoices and confirmations.
• Payment processors or banks when you pay by UPI, card, or bank transfer (they receive only what is needed to complete the transaction).
• Regulatory or law-enforcement authorities when required by law, court order, or legitimate safety investigation.
• Our delivery crew and dispatch staff, who receive only the contact and address details needed for the job assigned to them.

6. How long we keep data

We retain order and invoice records for as long as needed for accounting, tax, and petroleum supply compliance — typically several years as required under Indian law. Marketing enquiries we could not serve may be deleted sooner. If you ask us to remove personal data, we will do so where we are not legally required to keep it (for example, completed invoices linked to GST or commercial supply may need to be retained).

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect data on our systems, including access controls for admin accounts. No online system is completely secure; please use a private device and network when placing orders and do not share OTPs or passwords with anyone claiming to be from JB Fuels.
